AMBASSADOR & ATHLETE TEAMS

Back for 2025, we will have both the Trail Racing Over Texas Ambassador and competitive Athlete Teams. The application will remain open for December, and the teams will be announced in January. Team sizes and selection will be dependent on responses.

2025 TROT Ambassador Application

Our ambassador team for 2025 will consist of our most dedicated runners and volunteers of Trail Racing Over Texas. We expect our ambassadors to help spread the word about upcoming TROT events in-person and online, attend as many events as they can, join community events, be good trail stewards, and wear the TROT badge proudly with no conflicting partnerships. In return, TROT will provide one free race of your choice, a personal discount code for additional races, and a friends & family code to share*, a free TROT ambassador team shirt and other swag throughout the year, a network to meet with fellow trail runners and additional opportunities that may come up to be part of content creation, relays, additional events, and projects.

2025 TROT Athlete Application

Our athlete team for 2025 will consist of high-performance/high-potential mountain, ultra, and trail athletes who are competing nationally and internationally at a competitive level. We expect our athletes to help spread the word about Trail Racing Over Texas and upcoming TROT events in-person and online, attend as many TROT events as they can, join community events, be good trail stewards, and wear the TROT badge proudly with no conflicting partnerships. Athletes are also expected to abide by all World Athletics rules and regulations. In return, TROT will provide free TROT races and work with the athlete to provide additional support to non-TROT events, a friends & family code to share*, a Team TROT athlete kit and other swag throughout the year, a network to meet with fellow trail runners and additional opportunities that may come up to be part of content creation, training assistance, TROT sponsor connections, relays, additional events, and projects. Athlete support will be on an individual basis and discussed per application as to the level of support and sponsorship. Athletes do not have to live in Texas.
